In the winter 2005/2006 Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Newsletter, the project team outlined how it would spend the £5.8 Million lottery grant given to the Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Project. Since then there have been a number of updates in which it was announced that Morwellham Quay would receive around £1.2 million.
Ambitious plans were drawn up, and work has now started on a number of these areas, however some of the project elements appear now to have been scaled down, or in some cases abandoned altogether.
